The 7th IFEL conference has been opened

7th International Conference
“Issues of Far Eastern Literatures”
dedicated to the 120th Anniversary of Mao Dun

(St. Petersburg, June 29 – July 3, 2016)

On the 30th of June, 2016 the opening ceremony of the 7th international conference “Issues of Far Eastern Literature”, has been opened in Aula Magna of St. Petersburg University.

The conference is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of outstanting Chinese writer Mao Dun (1896-1981). More than 100 participants from 10 countries has been greeted by vice-rector of SPbSU Prof. Alexey Zavarzin, representative of Chinese Association for Mao Dun Studies Prof. Yan Haogang and Chinese director of CI at St. Petersburg University Prof. Zhang Rukui. The keynote speeches have been delivered by Academician Vladimir Myasnikov and Prof. Yang Yang.

The collection of papers was published prior to the time of the conference.
